This first phase of the redevelopment of the Galleria Shopping Centre in Toronto’s Dupont and Dufferin neighbourhood, articulates a contemporary aesthetic, with a subtle nod to the area’s mid-size industrial and factory heritage. As such, designs are very clean with industrial accents and a high contrast palette to create both a sense of energy and calmness. Curated for a diverse demographic, the wide array of amenity offerings includes multiple fitness zones, social lounges, a chef kitchen/dining room, and a games' and kids’ room, highly sought after by families. Inspired by the new 8-acre park that will be integrated in the master-planned community, spaces are fashioned in natural materials such as white oak, and a mix of dark and light toned marble and stones. Brass detailing, eye-catching lighting, sculptural furniture forms and the injection of botanical installations, animates the scheme, while contributing to the overall refined urban vibe.
